Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Broncos brought in 12 players for tryouts on Tuesday including QB Sean Renfree, QB T.J. Yates, RB Bernard Pierce, RB Zac Brooks,ย WR Corey Washington and WR Keshawn Martin.

Yates, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He spent three years in Houston before he was traded to the Falcons for Akeem Dent. The Falcons later brought him back on a one-year contract before cutting him loose at the start of the 2015 season.
The Texans signed him to their roster in October and he finished out the year in Houston.
In 2015, Yates appeared in four games and threw for 370 yards while completing 49.1 percent of his passes to go along with three touchdowns and an interception.
Renfree, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in 2013. He is in the final year of his four-year, $2.206 million rookie contractย and setย to make a base salary ofย $675,000 for the 2016 season when the Falcons cut him loose a few weeks ago.
In 2015, Renfree appeared in two games for the Falcons and completed three of seven pass attempts for 11 yards and an interception.
