The Cleveland Browns announced Monday that they’ve officially activated WR Antonio Callaway from the exempt list.
The Browns had an open roster spot to work with, so no corresponding roster move was needed here.
Callaway finished serving his four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy last week.
Callaway, 22, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $3,177,856 contract that included a $717,856 signing bonus.
Callaway stands to make a base salary of $570,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Callaway appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and caught 79 passes for 586 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
