The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Jackson, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2019. He was waived coming out of training camp this past summer and later claimed by the Browns.
Jackson is currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.8 million contract.
In 2020, Jackson has appeared in three games for the Browns and recorded five tackles and a fumble recovery.
