Browns Place OT Michael Bowie On Reserve/Retired List, Sign DL Kenton Adeyemi

The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve placed OT Michael Bowie on the reserve/retired list.

  • The Browns also signed rookie DL Kenton Adeyemi.

This move will allow the Browns to control Bowie’s rights, should he elect to unretire at some point.

Bowie, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks out of Northeastern State back in 2013. He spent one year in Seattle before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

Bowie still has one year remaining on his four-year, $2.206 million rookie contract.

In 2013, Bowie appeared in nine games and played a total of 539 snaps, grading out as a solid run-blocker.
