Browns Re-Sign RFA DL Jamie Meder

The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that restricted free agent DL Jamie Meder has signed his one-year tender for the 2018 season.

Cleveland used the original-round restricted tender on Meder, which will cost them $1.907 for the 2018 season.

Meder, 26, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Ashland back in 2014. He was one and off of their practice squad during the 2014 season before eventually signing on to the Browns practice squad and finishing out the year in Cleveland.

The Browns elected to bring Meder back on an exclusive rights contract last year. He was placed on the season-ending injured reserve in November after sustaining a high-ankle sprain.

In 2017, Meder appeared in 10 games for the Browns and recorded 13 tackles and no sacks.
