Browns Re-Signing LB Ray-Ray Armstrong To One-Year Extension

Mike Garafolo reports that the Browns are re-signing LB Ray-Ray Armstrong to a one-year, $2.25 million extension through the 2019 season.

Armstrong, 28, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2013. He lasted just over a year with the Rams before he was waived and later claimed by the Raiders in 2014.

After three years with the 49ers, Armstrong was waived later claimed by the Giants in November of last year. Unfortunately, the Giants placed him on injured reserve and was cut back in October. The Browns signed him shortly after he cleared waivers.

In 2018, Armstrong appeared in six games for the Giants and nine games for the Browns, recording 23 total tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
