The Browns were reportedly in talks with Robinson about a new contract and it looks like they were to get an agreement in place well in advance of free agency.
Robinson, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Rams back in 2014. He spent three years with the Rams before they declined to pick up his fifth-year option and was later traded Robinson to the Lions.
Detroit cut Robinson loose in 2017 and he signed on with the Browns in June of last year. He was in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 63 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
