Browns Sign OL Kyle Friend To Practice Squad

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve signed OL Kyle Friend to their practice squad.

Here’s the Browns updated practice squad:

5. RB Devante Mays
6. DB Robert Jackson (Injured)
7. CB Lenzy Pipkins
8. C Jake Eldrenkamp
9. OT Mason Gentry
10. WR Daniel Williams
11. DB Ashton Lampkin
12. OL Kyle Friend

Friend, 24, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2016. He lasted less than a year in New York before the Steelers signed him off of the Jets’ practice squad.

Friend had a brief stint with the Panthers earlier this year before signing on to the Cardinals’ practice squad a few months ago.

Friend has yet to appear in an NFL game.
