The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve signed RB Daryl Richardson to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:
- RB Daryl Richardson
- DB Sean Baker
- OL Conor Boffeli
- TE Connor Hamlett
- DB Tim Scott
- T Dan France
- C Garth Gerhart
- DE Dylan Wynn
- DB Chance Casey
- OT Erle Ladson
Richardson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He spent two years in St. Louis before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets, but was unfortunately among the team’s early roster cuts.
The Texans signed Richardson in September and was on and off of their practice squad for most of the year before being waived close to a month ago. The Browns wound up signing him to their roster a few weeks ago before cutting him loose just a few days ago.
Richardson hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he ran for 215 yards on 69 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with 14 receptions for 121 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
