The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve signed TE Mik’Quan Deane to a contract and waived WR Blake Jackson (knee) with an injury designation.
Should Jackson clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Browns’ injured serve list.
Deane wound up going undrafted out of Western Kentucky back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Seahawks.
However, Deane was waived a few weeks later. The Bills signed him to a contract soon after only to cut him loose in June.
During his two years at Western Kentucky, Deane caught 55 passes for 673 yards receiving and seven touchdowns over the course of 17 games.
