Browns Waive Blake Jackson From IR With Settlement

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve waived WR Blake Jackson from injured reserve with a settlement.

Jackson suffered a knee injury, which led to him ending up on the Browns’ injured reserve list.

Jackson 25, wound up going undrafted out of Mary Hardin-Baylor college last year. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Browns, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Browns later signed Jackson to their practice squad before eventually calling him up in December. Unfortunately, Jackson was waived with an injury designation in recent days and reverted to their injured reserve list.

During the preseason last year, Jackson caught one pass for 22 yards and a touchdown over the course of three games.
