Buccaneers Place Third-Round RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn On COVID-19 List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially placed third-round RB RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, according to Rick Stroud

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

Vaughn, 22, was a two-year starter at Illinois before transferring to Vanderbilt as a junior. The Buccaneers selected him with the No. 76 pick in this year’s draft. 

Vaughn is projected to sign a four-year, $4,755,996 rookie contract that includes a $1,018,907 signing bonus. 

During his college career, he appeared in 29 games for Rutgers before transferring to the Buckeyes as a fifth-year senior and started all 12 games.
