The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they have signed third-round S Mike Edwards to a four-year rookie contract.

Edwards was the No. 99 overall pick in the third round by the Buccaneers out of Kentucky. He’s projected to earn a four-year, $3,342,172 rookie contract including an $822,172 signing bonus.
During his college career at Kentucky, 317 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 10 interceptions, 23 pass defenses, one fumble recovery, two forced fumbles, and scored two defensive touchdowns.
