The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing RB Aca’Cedric Ware, WR Travis Jonsen and TE Codey McElroy to their practice squad on Monday, according to Greg Auman.
The Buccaneers will need to make a corresponding roster move, as they’re currently over the practice squad limit:

- DB Herb Miller
- WR Josh Pearson

- DB Ross Cockrell
- C Zach Shackelford
- WR Isaac Whitney
- RB Aca’Cedric Ware
- TE Codey McElroy
- WR Travis Jonsen
Ware, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of USC last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason before eventually signing on to the Buccaneers’ practice squad in October.
Ware returned to Tampa Bay on a futures contract after the season but was waived coming out of training camp.
During his college career at USC, Ware rushed for 1,505 yards on 264 carries (5.7 YPC) to go along with 19 receptions for 126 yards receiving and 10 total touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 35 games.
