Cardinals Designate DL Zach Allen To Return From IR, Make Several PS Moves

The Cardinals announced they have designated DL Zach Allen to return from injured reserve. 

Arizona also signed five players to the practice squad, including:

To free up space, Arizona also cut LB Stephone Anthony and OT Rick Leonard from the practice squad. 

This opens up a three-week window for Allen to practice with the team before Arizona has to add him to the active roster.

Allen, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals out of Boston College back in 2019. He’s in the second year of his four-year rookie deal worth $4.3 million. 

In 2020, Allen has appeared in seven games for the Cardinals and recorded 11 tackles and a sack.
