Cardinals OT Bobby Massie has had his three game suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy reduced to two games following his appeal, per Pro Football Talk.
HCย Bruce Arians said the starting right tackle position is Massieโs to lose back in May. At this time, first-round pickย D.J. Humphriesย is expected to secure the starting job for at least the start of the regular season.
He will return to the lineup as soon as Week 3 against the 49ers.
Massie, 26, is entering the final year of his ย four-year, $2.543 million rookie contractย and stands to make a base salary ofย $660,000 for the 2015 season.
In 2014, Massie appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and played every offensive snap. He finished the season ranked as the No. 42 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifiers.
