The Cardinals announced that they have re-signed C John Estes to a contract on Monday.
#AZCardinals have re-signed C John Estes (6-2, 293) and released G Christian Johnson. Estes was previously with the Cards from 3/4 to 5/12.

Arizona also waived G Christian Johnson to make room for Estes.
Estes, 27, was cut loose by the Cardinals a month ago, but it appears as though they have reconsidered the idea and are willing to give him a shot to compete for a roster spot in training camp.
He had been out of the league for the past two seasons and was last with the Jaguars in 2011 when he appeared in two games.
