The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday that they’ve re-signed CB Chris Jones to their practice squad and released CB Andre Chachere from the unit.
Hereโs the Cardinals updated practice squad:
- TE Caleb Wilson
- LB Peter Robertson
- QB Kyle Sloter
- G Sam Jones
- CB Jalen Davis
- LB Kylie Fitts
- WR Johnnie Dixon (Injured)
- WR A.J. Richardson
- DL Miles Brown
- RB Justin Davis
- CB Chris Jones
Jones, 24, wound up signing on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Lions but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Jones later signed to the Cardinals’ practice squad and was signed to the active roster late in 2018. Arizona waived him earlier in the week.
In 2019, Jones has appeared in all five games for the Cardinals and recorded nine total tackles, no sacks or interceptions and one pass defense.
