The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve signed WR Bryant Mitchell to a futures contract for the 2019 season.
As of now, the Cardinals have signed nine players to futures deals including:
- OL Justin Evans
- OL Will House
- QB Charles Kanoff
- CB Jonathan Moxey
- CB Deatrick Nichols
- LB Pete Robertson
- OL Coleman Shelton
- RB Brandon Wilds
- WR Bryant Mitchell
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Mitchell, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern State back in 2016. He later signed on with the CFLโs Edmonton Eskimos and spent three years in Canada.
For his career, Mitchell has caught 97 passes for 1,418 yards receiving and six touchdowns over the course of 19 games.
