The Cardinals announced on Wednesday they’ve signed DL Zach Kerr to the roster.
Kerr worked out for the Cardinals recently and was with Cardinals DC Vance Joseph in Denver last season.
Kerr, 28, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2014. He managed to make the 53-man roster in all three of seasons with the Colts.
However, Indianapolis declined to tender him a restricted offer, which allowed him to test the open market as an unrestricted free agent in 2017. The Broncos later signed him to a two-year contract but was cut loose in the last week of August.
Since becoming a free agent, the Lions brought Kerr in for a workout but he left Detroit without a contract.
In 2018, Kerr appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and recorded 33 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 73 interior defensive lineman out of 112 qualifying players last season.
We have Kerr featured in our Top 50 NFL Free Agents list.
