Cardinals Sign German DL Moubarak Djeri

The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they’ve signed German DL Moubarak Djeri to a contract.

“It was a big dream, and right now it’s life,” Djeri said of signing an NFL contract. “I’m so excited to be here.”

Regarding playing in the NFL, Djeri says he knows things are going to be much faster but he plans to get to work.

“I know the NFL is much faster than the league I played in before,” Djeri said. “But I’m going to keep working.”

Djeri, 22, was born in the West African nation of Togo before relocating to Germany when he was 11 as part of a student exchange program. He began his football career at the age of 2018.

Djeri is 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds and recorded 12 sacks, 40 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and a pair of forced fumbles for the Cologne Crocodiles last year.
