Cardinals Sign P Matt Wile To Practice Squad, Cut LB Reshard Cliett

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve signed P Matt Wile to their practice squad on Tuesday released LB Reshard Cliett from the unit.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DB Trevon Hartfield
  2. CB Harlan Miller
  3. RB Elijhaa Penny
  4. OT Givens Price
  5. G Kaleb Johnson
  6. OLB Nordly Capi
  7. QB Zac Dysert
  8. TE Brian Leonhardt
  9. WR Chris Hubert
  10. P Matt Wile

Wile, 24, signed on with the Panthers last May as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan. He was cut multiple times last summer before the Panthers ultimately elected to move on from him at the start of the regular season.

The Cowboys signed him to a contract this past March but he was once again among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Wile later signed on with the Falcons but lasted just a week in Atlanta.

In 2016, Wile has appeared in one game and attempted two punts for 104 yards.
