Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals are signing DE Josh Mauro off of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad.
Mauro, 23, signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in May. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to their practice squad.
Mauro has yet to appear in an NFL game. During his four-year college career, Mauro recorded 81 tackles, 11 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles.
