Cardinals TE Ricky Seals-Jones Arrested For Assault, Disorderly Conduct & Criminal Trespassing

KTAR News reports that Cardinals TE Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested over the weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona for assault, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

According to the police report, Seals-Jones was arrested after he attempted to use the restroom inside a hotel. An employee for the hotel told Seal-Jones that only guests were allowed inside at the time and he allegedly attempted to use the bathroom, but was again denied entry.

An employee claims that Seals-Jones became combative and allegedly used “one hand shoved him in the shoulder area.

Seal-Jones says he had to go to the bathroom badly so he attempted to walk past the staff, but was taken to the ground when hotel staff pushed him.

The police report says that Seals-Jones appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the arrest.

Seals-Jones, 23, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in May of last year. He was among Arizona’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed with the team’s practice squad.

The Cardinals promoted him for Week 3 and he finished the season the season on their active roster.

In 2017, Seals-Jones appeared in 10 games and recorded 12 receptions for 201 yards (16.8 YPC) and scored three touchdowns.
