The Arizona Cardinals have placed C Lucas Crowley on waivers Saturday and signed rookie LB Tevin Floyd to a contract, according to Darren Urban.
Crowley, 22, signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina a few months ago. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
Floyd wound up going undrafted out of Citadel a few months ago and this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During the 2015 season, Floyd recorded 91 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, a recovery, three interceptions and two pass defenses.
