The Arizona Cardinals officially waived CB Deatrick Nichols to make room for S Eddie Pleasant, who was signed to a contract on Saturday.
Nichols, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
Unfortunately, Arizona waived Nichols a few weeks ago and he’s been on and off of their roster ever since.
In 2018, Nichols has appeared in two games for the Cardinals and recorded one tackle.
