The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they’ve placed offensive lineman Jake Benzinger, safety Reggie Floyd and wide receiver Rashad Medaris on waivers.
Floyd, 22, was a three-year starter at Virginia Tech, but ultimately went undrafted back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Cardinals.
During his college career at Virginia Tech, Floyd recorded 222 tackles, a half sack, five interceptions, a defensive touchdown, two forced fumbles and 10 passes defended over the course of four seasons and 39 games.
