Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the cardinals recently brought in rookie WR Brandon Eakins for a workout.
Eakins wound up going undrafted out of Citidel back in May. He was among the players who participated in the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, but wasn’t signed to a contract.
During his four-year college career, Eakins totaled 32 receptions for 426 yards receiving and four touchdowns to go along with three rushing attempts for 70 yards and a rushing touchdown. Eakins also contributed 294 kick return yards on 15 attempts.
