The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve claimed DT Marcus Hardison off of waivers from the Texans and waived OL Zachary Crabtree with an injury designation.
Should Crabtree clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Chargers’ injured serve list.
Hardison, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.625 million contract when the Bengals waived him coming out of the preseason.
Hardison had brief stints with the Jaguars and Patriots this season before signing on to the Texans’ practice squad late last season. Houston brought him back on a futures contract, but elected to waive him on Monday.
Hardison has yet to appear in an NFL game.
