Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that there’s “every reason to believe” Ken Whisenhunt lands with the San Diego Chargers as their next offensive coordinator.
Many thought Whisenhunt would be brought in as the Broncos’ offensive coordinator, but they chose to promote quarterbacks coach Adam Gase to the position instead. Whisenhunt found some interest from teams looking to hire a head coach, but he was ultimately passed over for the positions.
La Canfora adds that the Cowboys and Jets could also have interest in Whisenhunt as well.
