The Los Angeles Chargers have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 53 players ahead of Saturday’s deadline.
Here’s the list of roster cuts for the Chargers:

- LB Malik Jefferson
- WR Darius Jennings
- WR Tyron Johnson
- DE Jessie Lemonier
- CB Kevin McGill
- DB Quenton Meeks
- FB Gabe Nabers
- T Ryan Roberts
- WR Dalton Schoen
- T Trent Scott
- DT TJ Smith
- C/G Cole Toner
- CB Donte Vaughn
The Chargers also placed S Derwin James on injured reserve.
Jennings, 28, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2015. He lasted over a year in Cleveland before he was waived and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad.
From there, Jennings signed on with the Jets and eventually caught on with the Titans in 2017. Jennings was on and off of the Titans’ roster before joining the Chargers back in March.
In 2019, Jennings appeared in eight games for the Titans and caught two passes for 17 yards receiving and no touchdown. He also totaled 196 kick return yards for Tennessee.
