San Diego Chargers K Nate Kaeding‘s 2011 season may not have lasted very long as he suffered a knee injury on the teams opening kickoff which just happened to be returned for a touchdown but that’s a whole different issue.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the Chargers believe that he has a torn ACL which would most certainly end his season but Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune notes that the diagnosis is still pending.
Speculative replacement options would include: Shayne Graham, Jeff Reed and Dave Rayner.
