Kevin Acee of the Union-Tribune San Diego reports that the only candidate that the Chargers are “seriously” considering is Colts OC Bruce Arians.
Acee adds that former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt is interested in the position, but doesn’t anything about the Chargers interest in him.
Chargers have already hired former Packers GM Ron Wolf to help with their search for a new general manager, so it could be a few days before they begin bringing in applicants to be interviewed. San Diego seems to be shying away from big name coaches like Andy Reid, but Arians has continuously been linked to them as a serious option.
