The Los Angeles Chargers announced that theyโve signed first-round DT Jerry Tillery to a four-year rookie contract.

Tillery, 22, was the No. 28 overall pick by the Chargers out of Notre Dame. He is considered one of the top interior defensive prospects in this yearโs draft class.
According to OverTheCap.com, Tillery receives a four-year, $11,422,158 rookie contract including a $6,327,024 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at Notre Dame, Tillery recorded 133 tackles, 12.5 sacks and three forced fumbles over the course of 42 games.
