The Los Angeles Chargers officially signed WR Geremy Davis and DB Craig Mager to their practice squad on Tuesday.
The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:
- G Brett Boyko
- CB Michael Davis
- CB Randall Evans
- WR Andre Patton
- DE Whitney Richardson
- WR Artavis Scott
- RB Andre Williams (Exception)
- LB Joseph Jones
- WR Geremy Davis
- DB Craig Mager
Davis, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later cut loose at the start of the 2016 season.
The Giants added him to their practice squad a few months into the season before losing him to the Chargers and he finished out the year in San Diego. The Chargers brought Davis back on a one-year, exclusive rights contract this past March before cutting him loose this past weekend.
In 2016, Davis appeared in three games but did not catch a single pass for the Chargers.
