The Los Angeles Chargers officially waived DB Tevaughn Campbell on Monday.
This comes after CB Michael Davis had his suspension officially lifted by the NFL today.
Campbell, 26, is a former third-round pick in the CFL and played for the Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Montreal Alouettes.
Campbell signed on with the Jets to a futures contract back in January. He was waived coming out of the preseason and caught on with the Chargers’ practice squad.
Campbell has been on and off their active roster this season.
During his four-year career in the CFL, Campbell recorded 53 total tackles, one sack, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and scored three defensive touchdowns.
