The Los Angeles Chargers officially waived WR Trevion Thompson from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday.
Thompson, 23, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson following this year’s draft. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract, but he was later waived with an injury designation last week.
Thompson later reverted to the Chargers’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
During his four-year college career at Clemson, Thompson caught 53 passes for 506 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 35 games.
