The Kansas City Chiefs have placed S Juan Thornhill and OT Martinas Rankin on the active/PUP list on Friday.
Thornhill can be activated from the list at any time before the start of the regular season.
After a promising rookie season, Thornhill tore his ACL at the end of the regular season.
Thornhill, 24, was taken with the No. 63 overall pick in the second round by the Chiefs out of Virginia. He signed four-year, $4,615,266 rookie contract that included a $1,376,556 signing bonus.
In 2019, Thornhill appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 58 tackles, three interceptions, one defensive touchdown and five passes defended.
