Chiefs Promote OL Daniel Munyer, Sign LB Orie Lemon To PS

The Kansas City Chiefs promoted OL Daniel Munyer to their active roster and signed LB Orie Lemon to their practice squad.

The Chiefs are obviously looking to bolster their offensive line depth ahead of Sunday’s Wildcard game.

Munyer, 23, signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May of last year. He’s been on off of the Chiefs’ practice squad for most of the year.

In 2015, Munyer has been active for one game.

Lemon, 28, signed on with the Cowboys back in 2011. He spent close to two years with Dallas before joining the Chiefs and Cardinals in short stints.

The Buccaneers wound up signing Lemon off of the Chiefs’ practice squad a few years ago, but he has been on and off of their practice squad for most of the 2015 season.

This season, Lemon has appeared in eight games and recorded four total tackles.
