The Kansas City Chiefs officially re-signed WR Kyle Williams on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.
The Chiefs claimed Williams off of waivers back in November of last year after the 49ers cut him loose.
Williams, 25, appeared in 10 games during the 2013 season and totaled 12 receptions for 113 yards receiving to go along with another 23 yards on the ground. He also saw time on special teams as a kick returner.
Kansas City has a number of receivers on their roster, so it seems likely that Williams will have to compete for a roster spot during training camp and in the preseason.
