Chiefs Waive DB Jacoby Glenn From IR With Settlement

The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived DB Jacoby Glenn from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.

Glenn, 24, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida in 2015. He was unable to crack Chicago’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was quickly signed to the team’s practice squad.

Glenn was on and off their practice squad last year before he waived shortly after this year’s NFL draft. The Chiefs signed him to a contract back in August but he later ended up on injured reserve to open the season.

In 2016, Glenn appeared in seven games and recorded 26 total tackles, one interception, six pass defenses, and forced a fumble.
