Chiefs Waive Rookie CB Justin Cox Following Arrest

The Kansas City Chiefs have placed CB Justin Cox on waivers Tuesday following his arrest for aggravated domestic violence, burglary of a residence and trespassing charges.

Cox, 22, signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Cox will free up $428,333 in available cap space while creating just $10,000 in dead money.

During his two years at Mississippi State, Cox recorded 52 tackles, two interceptions, and seven pass defenses.
