Chiefs Waive Rookie CB Justin Cox Following Arrest

The Kansas City Chiefs have placed CB Justin Cox on waivers Tuesday following his arrest for aggravated domestic violence, burglary of a residence and trespassing charges. 

Cox, 22, signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May.

According to, releasing Cox will free up $428,333 in available cap space while creating just $10,000 in dead money.

During his two years at Mississippi State, Cox recorded 52 tackles, two interceptions, and seven pass defenses.
