Colt McCoy might not make the team?

Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer put together a list of players who are on the bubble and could be cut before the season and strangely enough he mentioned Colt McCoy as a possibility. Now, I would say the likely hood of this happening is little to no chance but the team has been impressed with the quarterback back play of Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace so far. Head coach, Eric Mangini, is also a big fan of Brett Ratliff which leaves McCoy as the only disappointment at the position.

If the Browns elect to place McCoy on waivers there is no doubt that another team would pick him up and I really cannot image that Mike Holmgren would be willing to cut McCoy this early into his career but he is shaping up to potentially be another Brady Quinn-like player for Cleveland.
