Colts Name Curtis Painter Starting QB For Week 5

Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell has finally announced that Curtis Painter will get the start against the Kansas City Chiefs week 5, per the Indianapolis Star.

“I probably didn’t make myself clear earlier in the week,” Caldwell said. “I said this early in the week, that yeah, there’s no question, he’s our starter, and he’s practiced well.”

Painter has looked to be an improvement over the veteran Kerry Collins but needs to play better if they’re going to start winning some games rather than just keeping them close.
