Colts Promote LB Luke Rhodes, Sign S Stefan McClure To Practice Squad

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve promoted LB Luke Rhodes to their active roster and signed S Stefan McClure to their practice squad.

The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DL Kristjan Sokoli
  2. TE Mike Miller (Injured)
  3. LB Deiontrez Mount
  4. WR Marcus Leak
  5. OT Jeremy Vujnovich
  6. DB Tevin Mitchel
  7. WR Tevaun Smith
  8. G Adam Redmond
  9. WR Devin Street
  10. QB Stephen Morris
  11. Stefan McClure

Rhodes, 23, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of William & Mary. He was in the first of his three-year, $1.62 million contract and set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

The Colts later signed him to their practice squad back in October.

During his four-year college career, Rhodes recorded 341 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, six forced fumbles, two recoveries, five sacks, an interception and 19 pass defenses.
