The Indianapolis Colts announced Sunday that S Malik Hooker is out for the remainder of the game against the Vikings with an Achilles injury.
Hooker, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Colts back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $12.6 million contract that’s fully guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $2.18 million in 2020.
The Colts declined Hooker’s fifth-year option for the 2021 season, which means he’ll be an unrestricted free agent next year.
In 2020, Hooker has appeared in two games and recorded seven tackles and no interceptions for the Colts.
Weโll have more regarding Hooker as the news is available.
