The Colts announced they’ve signed G Nico Siragusa and placed C Javon Patterson on injured reserve.
Patterson tore his ACL at OTA’s Tuesday and will miss the 2019 season. Siragusa takes his place on the 90-man roster.
Patterson, 21, was drafted by the Colts in the seventh round this past year out of Ole Miss. He signed a four-year, $2.594 million contract which included a $74,576 signing bonus.
Patterson started all 36 games his final three seasons at Ole Miss and 42 games in total during his four-year college career.
Siragusa, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2017. He signed a four-year, $3.02 million contract with Baltimore but suffered a suffered a torn ACL, MCL and PCL during the 2017 preseason.
The Ravens later waived Siragusa at the start of last year and he was eventually signed off of their practice squad by the Packers. Green Bay waived him in April of 2019.
During his college career at San Diego State, Siragusa was a three-year starter at left guard and was a first-team All-Mountain West as a junior and senior.
