The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of LB Justin Shirk on Thursday. The team also placed DE Camaron Beard on waivers in a subsequent roster move.
Shirk is an undrafted free agent out of Bloomsburg, who appeared in 45 games over the course of his four-year college career. He recorded 392 tackles, 45.0 tackles for loss, 18.0 sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.
Beard, 23, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati a month ago. He appeared in 41 games during his college career and finished with 75 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.
