Reitz, 31, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent back in 2008. He spent over two years in Baltimore before he was waived at the start of the 2010 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins.
Unfortunately, he was once again waived three days later and claimed by the Colts. Reitz would go on to spend seven years with the Colts.
Reitz was in the final year of his three-year, $9 million contract that included $2.75 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $2 million for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Reitz was active for 13 games.
