Colts Waive RB Robert Turbin & WR Steve Ishmael, Promote LB Skai Moore

The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve waived RB Robert Turbin and WR Steve Ishmael and promoted LB Skai Moore to their active roster.

Turbin, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2012. He was waived by the Seahawks during the 2015 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

Turbin’s stay in Cleveland was short-lived, as the Browns wound up waiving him after just a few months. The Cowboys later signed him to a contract and gave him the opportunity to finish out the year in Dallas.

The Colts signed Turbin in March of last year and brought him back on a two-year, $2.7 million contract. He landed on the team’s injured reserve in October of last year after sustaining a dislocated elbow.

In 2018, Turbin has appeared in two games for the Colts and rushed for 10 yards on four carries (2.5 YPC) to go along with one reception for three yards and no touchdowns.
